The invention relates to a mechanism that serves to transform the alternating motion produced by the pedals, rotating around a semicircular pivot point, in a continuous rotation with the possibility of changes the gear ratio continuously (without steps) during operation, or even stay.
There are several mechanisms that make this kind of transformation of the movements, such as the crank handle, but less efficient, because the movements passing through the dead end points, or do not allow the change of gear.
The present invention presents a more efficient way for pedalind, by eliminating the dead end points, and includes continuously variable transmission ratio.

The mechanism transforms a reciprocating motion through a system of levers provided with guides allowing the change in the position of a pin along the lever in order to obtain a variation of the distance from the axis of movement semicircular alternately.
The mobile pin is fixed a rigid rod, with the help of a joint that allows the transfer of reciprocating motion of the lever to a chain or closed loop drive belt.
The chain or the belt is supported by two sprockets, one from here mounted on the final shaft, located at a distance from one another so as to allow the connecting rod to describe the whole rectilinear translation movement to the inner of the two sprockets.

Benefits:
Changes the gear ratio continuously (without steps) during operation, or even stay.
The changing ration system (continuously variable transmission) are included on pedals levers.
The transmission include a rigid rod for connecting the pedals to final shaft.
More efficient, eliminating the dead end points.
Very simple mechanisms, almost like single gear bicycle.
